We take the confidentiality of your health information seriously. Anthony's Pharmacy is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"), and your protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA, the HITECH Act, and Rhode Island law.

Our Notice of Privacy Practices

How we use and disclose your protected health information, and the rights you have over it, are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. A printed copy is available at the pharmacy counter and we will provide one on request — just ask a staff member or contact us using the details below.

Information collected through this website

General browsing of this site does not require you to identify yourself. When you voluntarily submit information — for example through our contact form or newsletter signup — we use it only to respond to you or to send you the communications you asked for. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Like most websites, this site may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited, which helps us keep the site working properly and improve it. If you use our online refill or account tools, those services are operated by a third party and are governed by that provider's own privacy terms as well as by HIPAA.

04Prescriptions and online tools

This website offers tools that let you request a refill, transfer a prescription or set up a new patient profile. Some of these tools are hosted by third-party service providers on our behalf.

A request submitted through this site is a request only. It is not confirmation that a prescription has been filled, that refills remain on file, that the medication is in stock, or that your insurance will cover it. Our pharmacy staff will review every request, and we will contact you if there is a problem. Please allow normal processing time and confirm with us before you rely on a refill being ready.

Pricing, coupons, insurance coverage and product availability shown or referenced on this site may change without notice, and the price you pay is determined at the point of sale. All prescriptions are dispensed at the professional judgment of the pharmacist and in accordance with applicable federal and Rhode Island law.

05Who may use this site

By using this website you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that you reside in the United States. This site is intended for use by patients and customers in the United States, and we make no representation that its content is appropriate or available for use elsewhere. If you access it from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local laws.

06Calls, texts and email

If you give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you about your prescriptions and your account — for example, refill-ready notices, pickup reminders, or a call from a pharmacist. These are service communications related to your care.

Separately, if you opt in, we may send you news, health tips or promotional messages by email or SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of filling a prescription or of any purchase. You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, and out of SMS by replying STOP, or you can simply let us know and we will remove you.

07Acceptable use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will not:

• Use the site in any way that violates federal, state or local law, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Use the site to harass, threaten, defame or harm any person, or attempt to do so.
• Attempt to obtain another person's prescription records or health information, or submit a request on someone's behalf without their authorization.
• Use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access, monitor or copy the site or its content without our written permission.
• Introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or any connected system or database.
• Interfere with, overburden or disrupt the site, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
• Frame, mirror or otherwise incorporate any part of this site into another website without our permission.

We may suspend or block access to the site if we reasonably believe you have engaged in any of the above, in addition to any other remedies available to us.

08Third-party sites and services

This website links to sites and services we do not control, including our online refill portal, mobile app, drug information databases, health news sources and mapping services. We provide those links for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, security or practices of third-party sites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.

09No endorsement of products

References to, or descriptions or images of, particular products, services, manufacturers, tests, providers or treatments on this site — including any coupons or discounts — are not endorsements or recommendations by Anthony's Pharmacy. Product names, logos and trademarks appearing on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

10Intellectual property

The design, text, graphics, logos and other content of this website are owned by Anthony's Pharmacy or our licensors and are protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may view the site and print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Apart from that, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from the site's content without our prior written permission. No rights are transferred to you except as expressly stated here.

11Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that the content, hours, pricing, product information or health information on this site is complete, current or free of error, or that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of harmful components. Store hours and services may change; please call ahead if it matters.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anthony's Pharmacy and its owners, employees, agents, suppliers and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption, arising out of or connected with your use of — or inability to use — this website or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

15Governing law

These Terms and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. Section headings are for convenience only.
